My Philosphy
Like adding lemon zest to enhance the flavor of a dish, my mission is to enhance your life by guiding you towards sustainable wellness with biblical principles and evidence-based nutrition, fostering healthful behaviors for your mind, body and spirit. That can include building your confidence preparing healthful meals, reflecting on and improving your relationship with food, or connecting your spiritual health with your physical health. I believe that through my experience in client-centered care and cultivating a positive space through teaching cooking classes, I can help you find joy in feeding yourself and nourishing your health!
My Story
Kelly Beck, RDN, LD is the owner of Zest of Life Nutrition based in Tucson, Arizona. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Nutrition Sciences with an Emphasis in Dietetics. She then completed her dietetic internship in Dallas, Texas with Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health. Kelly became a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) and Christian Nutritionist for the purpose of sharing her love for cooking, faith, and expertise in how optimal nutrition can significantly improve health outcomes. She's had an extensive desire for understanding the human relationship to food and the impact that nutrition plays in your mental health. She also welcomes the discovery of how your faith and spirit can improve your relationship with your body and how it was designed to be fed!

Outside of nutrition counseling and teaching cooking skills with clients, you can find Kelly spending her free time leisurely grocery shopping, hiking, singing with her Husband, Elliot, and their sweet dog, Lucy.​​
